About Us
The Hotel Barco Mediceo results from the couple
Lorenzo Federico Tesi and Cassia Mara Campardo’s
fruits of dynamism. Lorenzo has a degree in
Economy and is a truly Tuscan that knows and
appreciates the local culture and its
traditions. He has restored all the internal and
external facilities of the house by his own,
managing and making all the due changes from the
project idealization till its proper
implementation.
He is also kin on studying Art History and the
Italian gastronomy.
Cassia Mara Campardo is a Brazilian dentist who
has got her degrees in different universities in
Brasil.
Her Italian relatives immigrated from Veneto
region, north of Italy to Brazil in 1888. She
takes care of the friendly atmosphere of the
house by sharing her chill out and open minded
personality with the guests at the instant they
arrive.
She is the real soul of Barco Mediceo.
Together this couple had the idea
to preserve this beautiful Tuscan land and open
their doors to the people that are interested in
visiting this Italian region which always
fascinates
whoever
comes to visit it.
